Last week we went to GAB for the Guinness League of Excellence press event. During the event they demonstrated Guinness Draught (GD) 2 parts pour and how to drink Guinness Foreign Extra Stout (FES). When the beer is served?
Nice aroma of malt.
How’s the taste?
The beer is very crispy with light bitter on the tongue. Is quite smooth and easy to drink. The beer have fine bubble that make the beer refreshing with some malty taste at the back. Some slight citrus taste of hops. Not much after taste for a 5% ABV beer.
What’s the colour?
Crystal Pinkish Yellow

Simple and nice.

My Opinion:
Nothing too special, but do have a taste different from the other brand of lager in the market. Is easy to drink and can be a drink for a long drinking section. Easily pair with local food. Because lager don’t have strong taste to cover the food taste.
When the beer is serve?
Nice malty aroma.
How’s the taste?
Can see a nice head, nicely carbonated. The first gulp have a lot of nice aroma and taste going on. Malty aroma with light bitter end. A bit more fizzy then expected, maybe because from the tap. Very smooth and easy to drink. The after taste is good, with some malty sweetness to it as well.
What’s the colour?
Cloudy dark yellow

Nothing much on the design, just a typical weissen glass.

My Opinion:
Sure is a nice beer that can easily goes with food. Fried stuff will be a perfect match for this beer. I prefer the beer to go with food then just drinking it alone.
When the beer is serve?
Didn’t smell anything special, have some light flavour.
How’s the taste?
The tick foam is quite nice, something like Guinness stout. Light bitter taste, slight sour taste. The beer do give a good after taste, slight floral aroma. Is quite refreshing and easy to drink. Not much bubble movement, but do have a lot of bubble on the glass. The taste can match with food easily.
What’s the colour?
Light redish transparent.
How’s bottle the design?
The dark green label do look nice, but of course it did remind me of Baron.
Where to get?
A lot of pub in Malaysia do sell this beer. Most english and irish pub sells damn.
My Opinion:
The beer is nice, is an ale which have a bit more body and taste compare to the normal lager. Is a nicer beer to chill also as it’s not as thick as stout and not as light as lager. Can be easily found in most english or irish pub.
