Tried 10 Different Beers In One Day Trip At Singapore

August 21, 2021 – 3:39 pm Comments Off

As usual my trio in Singapore is always about drinking other beer that I can’t find in Malaysia. This one day trip again is something I always like to do, drink from morning till night then come back to Malaysia. Manage to do 10 beers in one day. Proper tasting and drinking.

1. Baird Beer Numazu Lager
A bit cloudy for a lager but have nice malty flavour with hint of bitter end.

2. Baird Beer Rising Sun Pale Ale
Nice entry level pale ale that bring up the palate. Can be easily paired with light spices food.

3. Estrella Galicia Cerveza Especial
Simple drinking lager with light malty flavour linger.

4. Estrella Galicia Cerveza Pilsen
This pilsner is not bad, like the finish sour dot that last a bit longer.

5. Estrella Galicia 1906
The beer have more bitter and malty yet still refreshing and easy to drink.

6. Delborgo Extra Re Ale
This is a nice easy drinking Pale Ale. Nice nose with pleasant finishing that bring a nice bouquet of flavour.

7. Baird Beer Belgium Pale Ale
Simple light Belgium spice and hoppy aroma of fruity taste. Easy and refreshing drinking pale ale.

9. Minoh Osaru IPA
Not the type of IPA that hit you with tones of flavour, this one is more pleasant and easy drinking that end with hoppy bitter note.

10. Hemel & Aarde
One of my favourite strong beer. Miss this beer so much. The power roasted aroma with the nice thick bitter sweet of balance taste. Should end my beer section every time I go drinking.

All the beer can be purchase at Brewers’ Craft except the Estrella Galicia.

De Molen – Blikken & Blozen

April 10, 2021 – 3:28 pm Comments Off

When the beer poured out?
Lychee sweetness with dry spice and floral sweetness.

How’s the taste?
The first entry remind of sweet bitter durian pungent but not the aroma. The heavy sweet and hoppy bitter blend very well together. Leaving a grassy bitter at the throat with light bouquet of aroma. Thin of light vapour. It become creamy as you drink along. At 8.5% the taste of alcohol are minimal and have a sweet after taste with light bitter as it goes along.

What’s the colour of the beer?
Pale dark orange.brown.

Where to drink?
Available at Ales & Lagers. Very limited stock.

My Opinion:
I kind love this beer as I love durian. The bitter and sweet really hit all the not of a bitter durian. I did get a bit confuse if this is a Saison or double IPA. The spices does remind me of Saison but the bitter is really what I love about this beer. The creaminess of the beer and the thick head making it a delight of drinking the beer.
