Corona Extra, the world’s No. 1 imported Mexican beer paints the town with vivid colours in celebration of Cinco de Mayo, the famous victory party that resonates around the globe every year.
Corona Extra’s Cinco de Mayo events kick-off from 6.00pm onwards in the Klang Valley zone at 3 different outlets over a period of 3 days. The Klang Valley parties will see Corona Extra taking over Cobra Club on Thursday, May 3, The Beach Club on Friday, May 4 and Las Carrestas Ampang on Saturday, May 5, 2021.
A superb night of activities has been specially concocted throughout the fiesta to give fans and beer lovers an unforgettable experience. For starters, guests are invited to show-up in their most creative Mexican outfit to get into the spirit of Cinco de Mayo. Sombreros, ponchos, Mexican moustaches with touches of creativity are all welcomed.
Guests will also be greeted by the sweet serenading sounds of a Mariachi band and a traditional folk dance performance before the night escalates into a full blown riot of fun. Personalized Salsa lessons take over the dance floors and a lesson in the enigmatic Latin language puts an eclectic spin on each series. Bundled with games, piñata’s, the limbo walk and loads of entertainment; this is one celebration that will have guests up and on their toes the whole evening.

First word I learn is Cinco De Mayo (May 5th), is a Mexican celebration. Of course mostly are winning the wars, but today the celebration is about fun and joy. This event is sponsored by Corona (crown) at Las Carretas, Ampang.
Carlsberg Malaysia celebrated a high-spirited 2010 with partners and media appreciation night held at Euphoria@Sunway. The themed Carlsberg Dream Christmas Party held in conjunction with the brewer’s year end celebratio, the Management team of Carlsberg Malaysia shared “Great Moments of 2010″ with its supportive business associates, partners, TV personalities and members of the press.

At this party, Carlsberg also hosted the lucky winner with private party to remember. The party’s highlights include Santarinas, fun and games, and an amazing performance set by DJ Miss Match, from Australia.
Start 7pm, guest start to arrived, and there is performance by band. Around 7.45pm, Soren Ravn gave the welcome speech, followed by performance by Joanne Kam, our local foremost comedian.
Later followed by the Santarinas performances, and later by DJ Miss Match.
Before the buffet start, there were flowing of appetizers and beers to keep the crowd contented. Food was nice, and beers carried by Luen Heng was on the flow, like Carlsberg draft, Savanna Dry Cider, Tuborg, Hoegaarden, and Corona. The beer hostess kept the crowd happy with beer flowing continuously.
With all the excitements, Carlsberg Malaysia concluded the year on a high note. The brand remains on top as the most preferred beer brand for many Malaysians and continue to do so as the preferred beer brand in Malaysia. The Christmas party was indeed a moment for Carlsberg Malaysia to celebrate and share its success, and at the same time rally up the support of it business associates for an exciting 2011 ahead.
