Snake Dog Indian Pale Ale
This is Indian Pale Ale from Flying Dog Brewery, as usual, the bottle have catchy prints on it, a snake and a dog, that is the name Snake Dog. Flip over, there is some information about this IPA, some catchy phrase, and it sell this IPA as so attractive, chock full of bitterness, bite and attitude, it slaps you in the face with flavor.
Let’s see how it fares..
This bottle poured out amberish copper color with slight white heady, dissipates as the clock ticking off. I might not use the correct glass, as I’ve only had this glass in disposal, the head might be better. Smell a hint of grassy hops, with citrus fruity aromas..
Taste? like it aromas, it’s grassy hops, and a hint of citrus fruity finish. Mouth feel is light and some carbonation, ain’t that bitter. I thought this IPA is alright, drinkable, though high on alcohol volume, 7.1%, i don’t mind a second down.
You can get the Flying Dog beer range from Craft Brew@Mutiara Damansara. Cheers!

I like the after taste of this beer too… but many normal drinker will not like this beer because of it’s bitterness. I notice that many advance drinker don’t find beer that bitter, overall they find the bitter as sweet.

IPA is an acquired taste – the bitterness is what gives this beer kick. In hokkien, they call this ‘pang’ (Fragrant)
Another to die for is this http://www.rogue.com/beers/hazelnut-brown.php – hazelnut w dark brown ale…weird but nice
