Maredsous Abbaye-Abdij
This is Maredsous Tripel brewed by Brouwerij Duvel Moortgat Belgium, another variant of Duvel. This is a whopping 10% ABV, the highest alcohol content drink among the beers in the freezer, claimed the bartender.
Help myself with the pour out a hazy dark amber colored with white foamy head, head retain well for quite awhile. Take a good snuff over the glass, bring out a little fruity then bready scent.
A good sip, I could taste fruity sweetness, some citrusy kick, it is smooth and crispy, medium carbonation, and a little bitter toward the end. The after taste, slightly bitter and the fruitiness still lingering in the palate.
We had this Maredsous at Brussels at Menara Hap Seng, could also available at their Jaya One outlet, with the crowd.
Cheers!
