Introducing Flying Dog – In Heat Wheat (Hefeweizen)

One beer worth mentioning in the Singapore Beer Fest 2008 is the Flying Dog In Heat wheat (Hefeweizen) Its very proud saying good beer no shit is probably the most notable thing I see on its advertisement.  It was just a brewpub in Maryland and soon it was exporting to all states in US and now Singapore.  The distributors told me that it will hit their shelves in 2 weeks.  I asked what about Malaysia.  I do hope some people will take it in.

Anyway here is my review about this great beer:-

Pouring

Firstly, as complained, my beer was poured into a bloody plastic cup! Did not notice about the colour as i was drunk

Smell

I was pretty drunk by that time and i was just talking about banana and banana, so the smell was bananas! I t has citrus smell as well

Taste

I have to say that it tasted exactly how it tasted.  Banana was still on my tongue.  But once the tastes gets into you, you can taste the cloves running about your tongue… yes making it numb.  One sad thing is that I was hopping to get at least some good hops but there was not sign of it… damn.  Its an easy drink over all.  I think girls will like it because it was not bitter

Design

This is by far the weirdest design, logo, name i have ever seen.  Something i will not see for a long while! I must say they are very creative, expressive and they really have lots of respect for beer and dogs… no shit it was good beer.

Found

It is available in Singapore!! in two weeks, you will be able to see it in the shelves… ENJOY the dog Singaporeans
