Beer Lace
The appearance of the beer sometimes can tell a lot of story. The lace of beer is one way to see how fresh is the beer or sometimes, you can judge how fast the person drink.
Normally, a fresh beer leave a longer lace or foam that stuck to the beer glass. If you are an avid beer drinker, before you order a glass of beer, you can actually check out other customer beer glass. By the lace of the beer on the glass, you can roughly tell if the beer are fresh or not. Then you can order the same beer, if not then you can switch to other brands.
Sometimes you can notice the lace in layers if you don’t switch side to drink on the glass. This also showcase the gulp the person took each time. It can tell how fast the person drink and also how much volume each gulp. The lace can tell you how fast the person can drink. So don’t stir them. Haha.
A lot of people don’t like the foam on their beer. The head of the beer show a lot of characters of it. How long the beer is on the table or how heavy body is the beer?
Try it out the next time you order the beer, it will be fun trivia for the group! Cheers!

The most important thing about lacing for me is when drinking out, it tells me EXACTLY how clean the glasses are.
The lacing on a properly cleaned glass with have parallel circles, what you use to clean it can also effect the lacing.
