Heineken China

Had this during a BT to Shen Zhen, China on April 2009.
Holland brand, brewed in China, Shang Hai. by APB Shang Hai. RMB 6.50, 330ml can @ >/= 4.7% ABV
nose: nice floraly note, crisp.
palate: malty and mid-bodied.
Finish: hoppy, with sweet malty aftertaste.
typical Heineken, felt this better than those brewed in MYS or SGP, it has a fuller body than the 2, still, must be more expensive than the rest of the local’s
Kingway Gold will be a much cheaper alternative.

I believe this is not imitation Heineken, I tried once Budweiser in a town north west of china, it real shucks, its a pain just to drink it. On the menu it is written Budweiser, but when the bottle came, it is in chinese characters. i think there must be some translation lost in the menu.
so always check when the bottle came, never accept something inferior for premium price paid..lolx
