Carlsberg Malaysia’s Own Ultimate Oktoberfest Marquee Party At Its Oompah Best

Carlsberg Malaysia hosted the ‚Ultimate Oktoberfest Marquee Party‛ at the open car park at One Utama Shopping Complex from October 7 to 9. The fun started from 8p.m. and was hosted by an emcee who set the stage on fire and enlivened the mood.

This extravaganza, modeled after Munich’s Oktoberfest, is the ultimate high-energy celebration that will see a whirlwind of games like the Stein Race, Barrel Race, ‘How to do the Chicken Dance’ and others to amuse guests. Lucky winners of the games were rewarded with exclusive caps and T-Shirts to mark Malaysia’s very first month long beer drinking party. Carlsberg Malaysia continuously rewards consumer where every 1 litre beer of any sort purchased, consumers were entitled to bring home their 1 litre mugs!

Thanks to Carlsberg Malaysia, ‘Malaysia’s Own Oktoberfest 2011′ celebration has set the perfect backdrop for this signature event, encapsulating the perfect Bavarian-style ambience.

An overwhelming crowd turnout of approximately 5,000 people partied the Malaysian Oktoberfest style over the weekend with guidance of the Oompah band, specially flown from Germany. The band entertained the crowd throughout the nights with their traditional Bavarian music and alternatively rock spirit to celebrate the time honoured Alps tradition in authentic grandeur and style.

    rogue 18, I don’t understand where’s ur stand point. Which beer event are not created to earn and promote the brand? Even ofest in Germany, how much money they earn from it. Can let me know why you so piss off about Oktoberfest in Malaysia?
