Royal Oak @ Solaris Mon’t Kiara
I was on Solaris Mon’t Kiara the other day to check out some new places. The place offer a lot of pubs and night spot which many happy hour. On that day as I was about the go off, the rain started to pour, I was searching for a nice place to chill and some cheap beer. Then I found Royal Oak banner written 3 pint of Kilkenny for RM50nett, without much I straight when in for a thirsty pint.
The place is non halal, as it serve many pork dishes. If you are a meet eater, this is a good place to chill. We did order some pork snackers for some snacks, of course I mostly into the beer.
Many like us chill inside because of the heavy rain. The crowd are descent during the office hour on a weekday. I guess many are tempted on the beer promotion there too. Mostly I see drinking Kilkenny or Guinness, since it’s an Irish Pub what else would you order for beer.
The place is quite chill, nicely display a lot of EPL clubs banner, which I think during EPL night this place should be pack with supporter to watch the game. Of course you can guess where I sit in the area, as I’m an Arsenal supporter, for sure near the Arsenal banner… haha
The bar is quite small inside the shop. Compare to most pub, most bar mostly can be seen, this one is actually hiding at the back. Coming to this place some how do remind me of Sid’s Pub in many way. Not sure is it because of English pub style.
As the office hour is over, the place start to fill with happy hour drinker. The beer and snacks here is great to just chill after a hard days work. Hope some day I can have a pub like that just cater for people to chill and some light snacks. Cheers!
