Eivissa Bar Paradiso Launch @ TTDI Plaza

eivissa @ TTDI

I was invited few week back to a new pub launch by a friend @ TTDI plaza. This place is called Eivissa, previously was called Fidel’s Cuban. I’m not too sure is a new place or an upgrade. But either way, is for sure a good treat for new launch when free flow are given!

eivissa @ TTDI

Since I was invited by friend to come over, when I was there the crowd already pack up the place, is not even easy to walk from one end to the other. I can see happy faces every where, enjoying the nice good scene there.

eivissa @ TTDI

Of course those who know me, know that I don’t like loud music place, but once a while flowing and enjoying with the crowd is nice to let go some nuts. Especially I already have some beer flowing in my blood stream since afternoon, as Eivissa is the third place I visited on that day. Some loud music do kick in some mood in me.

eivissa @ TTDI

As they have free flow Carlsberg all the way, the bar area is really busy with non stop beer pouring. With busy counter keep coming in with order and refilling for many satisfy patron there.

eivissa @ TTDI

This place don’t have the best selection in town in terms of beer, but do have some party beer going there with Tuborg and Corona in their menu.

eivissa @ TTDI

Of course, they have more selection on hard liquor then beer. It will satisfy the people who need some booze to boom the day.

eivissa @ TTDI

Treat of the launch was accompany by some beauty from FHM Carlsberg Calendar 2010 girls, which are friendly and pretty to add in the launch fun! Beer and chic is for sure a good pairing.

eivissa @ TTDI

Overall, this place is nice and very comfy. I wish they can tune down the music to make this place more chit chat friendly. Of course, most pub are done up with the requirement of the crowd. TTDI Plaza don’t really have much crowd of chit chatter but more on party goer. Beerbeer like to wish Eivissa to have good business flowing all year long! Cheers!

Win Tickets To Watch Liverpool In Singapore!

Carlsberg has set aside 200 premium tickets for football fans to catch Liverpool in Singapore next month.

THE Mighty Red army from Malaysia is set for a big trip down to Singapore on July 26 to catch Liverpool FC play the Singapore national team. The friendly match at the Singapore National Stadium (kick-off is at 7pm) is part of Liverpool’s pre-season tour to Asia.

And the headlines will be painted red if Carlsberg Malaysia has its way with The Great Red Entourage Experience, which is a nationwide contest to send 200 lucky winners down to Singapore for the game.

For this contest, Carlsberg will be playing touring host to the many Liverpool fans across the country. The Danish brew, which sponsors the Liverpool team, will be organising a trip-of-a-lifetime for the local winners and football fans with eight buses booked to take the entourage across the causeway to catch Rafa Benitez’s side in action. The buses, set to leave from a Klang Valley destination, will be decked up in Liverpool colours and banners to replicate the buzz of a match-day experience. Expect a media circus to capture the Carlsberg touring party as they embark on this road trip.

Winners hailing from Sabah, Sarawak and Penang will be flown over to Singapore for the game, according to Carlsberg sources.

The last time Liverpool played in Singapore was in 2001, and you can expect another sold-out spectacle with the Mighty Reds expected to field a strong side. If you remember, the Gerard Houllier-managed Liverpool beat Singapore 2-0 back in 2001 and the stars on parade back then were Michael Owen, Gary McAllister, Dietmar Hamann and Jari Litmanen. Things have changed tremendously for the Anfield side with the “Rafa-lution” and today’s stars include captain marvel Steven Gerrard, superstar Spanish striker Fernando Torres, Argentina captain Javier Mascherano and more.

“This is a rare opportunity for the LFC football team to come down to Asia, and as the proud sponsor, we want to deliver the best football experience to our loyal supporters. This Red Entourage experience is all about 200 of our Carlsberg contest winners heading to watch Liverpool in one big group, getting to know other fans and having fun all the way,” said Ole S. Nielsen, Carlsberg Malaysia general manager (marketing).

“And when they get to Singapore, they will be all sitting in the same part of the stadium, together with other fans from Singapore and other countries. Some of them may even meet the players in a private ceremony.”

As part of this tour, the contest winners will receive a premium upper grandstand ticket worth S$188 each (RM451.20).

So how do you win a ticket to watch Liverpool play Singapore on July 26? With every purchase of one bucket or one jug of Carlsberg in participating outlets nationwide, punters will be given a contest card and to participate, they have to use their football knowledge to identify the location of the missing football in Carlsberg Spot The Ball contest. Terms and conditions apply.

The “Carlsberg-Liverpool FC Spot the Ball” (aka The Great Red Entourage Experience) contest will end on July 12. So top up your mugs fast, and stand a chance to win a trip to watch Liverpool tame the Lions.
