After Starker media section, I went for dinner. I was hungry, so I went for Bak Kut Teh. The after taste that still in my mouth really bring up the taste of the food. Is freaking awesome. Now I want to try Bak Kut Teh with weissbier.
The salty herbal soup does blend very well with the aroma of the beer. Must try it with other type of beer. Is really nice, do you think Belgium dark beer will do the job?
We stay in the hot country, so we drink everything with ice, teh tarik with ice, apple juice with ice, carrot juice with ice, but how come when someone drink beer with ice most people in Malaysia will look at you with one kind.
Is quite normal to see coffee shop beer drinker drink beer with ice. Many beer drinker told me that drinking beer with ice is something even the pope will not agree. But we stay in such a hot country where beer will turn warm in within minutes.
I’m not suggesting that drinking beer with ice is correct. Many pub now a days don’t serve beer in cold mug, where the beer can keep chill for longer. Some even suggest making a beer mug out of ice. That is sure a good idea.
The worst scenario is most of us like to drink outside an open air, where the hot temperature will warm our beer in minutes. Maybe they should make a coaster that can fit in dry ice that can chill the beer.
Either way, there are many argument on whether ice should be put in a beer. But I guess we will never find out, those who need to drink with ice have a good reason to do so and those who stand firm on not to drink with is up to their choice.
From far I try, beer with ice will be diluted and very easy to drink. In the end is up to the individual, some may show me the middle finger for approving drinking with ice. From far I know, there no right or wrong answer to it, is good that up to individual to decide. Cheers!
