Lorong Rahim Kijai Is The New Street of Fun
A simple street that pack with 4 pubs that stand out from other place. 4 quality pub that really stand out from the rest. Lorong Rahim Kijai is the new street of fun, this street is situated in Taman Tun Dr. Ismail (TTDI). A place that make you want to do pub crawl. Not only that this 4 pub offer good food and good beer.
We start with boatHouse which offer great imported beer from German with a lot of great food. They just added one more floor to make this place even more happening then before. The pub itself have a lot of loyal customer. This place always keep their food menu fresh and surprisingly good.
Next stop is Tom, Dick & Harry’s, a new place with new trend making this place more happening then ever. The crowd her is great, the ambient here look very spacious. Really a bar to reckon. At first I though they are fighting the pie at this street, but the owner told me they are here to make this street happening. This place is sure a drinking place.
Who can forget Deutsches Gasthaus, who recently celebrated their 16th Anniversary here. Also known as the Porky Bierhaus, I guess we all known what’s that mean, this place is full of pork in the menu. They serve some great deal of German delicacies with a sum big portion. Not only that, you can actually wash down those fats with a nice cold pint of Franziskaner draught. Not many pub have this draught, is consider the pub exclusivity.
The last one and everyone’s favourite neighbourhood pub – Sid’s Pub. This pub is one of the great place of chill pub. Is like you when in here, everyone knows everyone and people keep coming back for more. They have the best Guinness pour in town and a price that not many can beat. This place is known as the Guinness place, some ladies called the Snake Bite place too. Without Sid’s this street will not be as happening, of course who can forget a good pint of Guinness with Pork in the blanket.
I do believe more pubs will open on this street, Lorong Rahim Kijai is for sure a fun street that many will look forward when they feel like a good pint of beer and with great food as company. I bet the crowd that come to this place before have some good memory to bring back. This is what you called quality areas, is not about how many pubs but how many good pubs there is.
