Takeru Kobayashi: King Of Hamburger Eating

(WDEF Online) – New rule changes were no challenge for Takeru Kobayashi at Sunday’s Krystal Square Off at Ross’ Landing. Kobayashi reclaims the world hamburger eating title from Joey Chestnut by eating 93 Krystals in 8 minutes. Chestnut came in second with 81.

The Japanese speed-eater set a world record under the new no-dunking rule. He takes home his 4-th Square Off title and 20-thousand dollars. “I wasn’t really worried about the new rules at all..dunking, no dunking. I’m good with both,” Kobayashi said after his win.
Also new this year, every eater was given five Big Angus Burgers at the start of the competition in addition to their tray of Krystal hamburgers. Each Angus Burger consumed was worth five points.

(Beerbeer) – I wish we have this competition in Malaysia. I’m a big fan of Takeru Kobayashi, skinny guy with big appetite, imagine this guy in buffet, I bet he can wallop everything. Congratulation to Takeru Kobayashi, you the man!
